Prog-Rockin’

Congratulations to my composer buddy Seann Branchfield for finishing up his composition degree at NYU with a pretty epic concert last night.  I played some trumpet for him in an orchestra fronted by his band – a type of Prog-Rock sounding group whose name I never actually caught – to play some 9 or 10 songs.  I’m happy I got to help him out and make it a success for him, as he was nice enough to play in my own patchwork orchestra during my composition recital.  Nice, fun way to spend a Saturday.  Congrats, pal.

Update from Seann: “The official band name is Seann Branchfield and the Unnamed Band ….a bit of a misnomer since that means we actually do have a name…”  And now we know.
